2020 V45-1 Winter

Volume 45 Issue 1 burtonlibrary.org Winter/Spring 2021 Katie Ringenbach Dear Community Members, Heading into winter and thinking forward to spring, our goal is to continue to focus on safely providing library services for our community. We take seriously our ability to provide books, movies and other resources to help occupy some of the additional time spent at home. Curbside service has been a popular addition and we encourage you to continue to utilize this as the weather becomes colder. With your increased use of electronic books, music and movies, we have dedicated additional resources to Hoopla, Libby and Overdrive. This is a wonderful way to access library materials without leaving your home. We have been operating under reduced hours since reopening due to different factors including a reduction in staff. We appreciate your patience with this and intend to reinstate additional evening hours when feasible. Finally, and most importantly we want to thank all of you for the caution and care you demonstrate while in the Library. Your adherence to safety measures allows us to continue to operate while minimizing risk and we cannot thank you enough. Sincerely, A Message from the Director . . .
