The Burton Public Library Board of Trustees and Staff are pleased to welcome Kathryn Ringenbach as our new Library Director. Kathryn was selected after a four-month search of qualified candidates not limited to Ohio librarians. In her professional career, she taught special education students before earning her Master’s in Library Science and has worked in several areas of library management. Most recently, she was the Manager of Cleveland Public Library’s Rockport Branch.
The Board and Friends of the Burton Public Library wish to invite the public to a Meet & Greet for Director Kathryn Ringenbach on Thursday, May 12, at 7:00 pm on the main floor of the library in the Merritt Room. Refreshments will be served. Please join us in welcoming Katie to the Burton Public Library and to our Geauga Community! Katie's start date with the Burton Public Library will be on Monday, April 25th.
